Jesse Smith & Kimbra Fuesting Plow Through the Competition at Central Illinois Dragway

The 2017 version of the Midwest Super Comp Series continued it's corn swing at Central Illinois Dragway. The neat, well run 1/8 mile strip saw some great, close, 5.70 racing. Jesse and Kelli Smith were able to get a handle on their new to them race car. Jesse lit the win light in a close final over Ben Baer in Greg Kolinek's racer.

Saturday was so much fun we decided to do it again on Sunday! Sunday's race included two racers making their first final round appearance in 2017. Once again after 5-rounds of tough races, Kimbra Fuesting was declared the Champion. Kimbra drove her new car to victory over Pat Fitzpatric.

The next and final race weekend will be on August 26 & 27 at Byron Dragway. This will be a busy weekend with the Final 2 Races, the Loyalty Shoot-Out, Last Chance Shoot-Out and End of the Season Cook-Out.

The Final 2 Races will determine the Top Ten. The points sheet represents your best 9 races which we will use.

The Loyalty Shoot-Out will be ran during the Time-Runs on Saturday.

The Last Chance Shoot-Out sponsored by Ken Messenger & Warren Goetsch will be during Sunday's Time-Runs. Both races will start right out of the trailer. The pairings are listed below.

The Cook-Out takes place after the races on Saturday. As always we will supply the pulled pork, burgers & dogs. We ask that you bring a side dish or desert. There will be awards for these. If you can supply a grill, table or cooking talent please do!

Finally, there is NO Parking Restrictions.

BE SAFE!!    HAVE FUN!!
