MOTORSPORTS RACING FUELS
Frequently Asked Questions
General
1. Why is the Drum so important for Race Fuels?
To protect the integrity of the Fuel for long term storage. For long term storage lined drums prohibit rust, corrosion and metal deposits that can contaminate fuel delivery systems.
2. Shipping Race Fuels?
Drums are shipped truck freight and 5 gallon or less is shipped UPS.
3. Can I store my fuel through the winter?
Race fuel has a very good shelf life. It is however, very sensitive to light, so it should not be stored in clear containers. Fuel can be stored for extended periods of time as long as it is in an air tight container. Race fuel jugs and Plastic drums are not good for long-term storage; if you are going to store your fuel for the winter, use a quality steel drum and keep it inside.
